Breedingconditions

  • Sufficient adjustment options with best feeding and care. About mare's characteristics (feeding, behavior, etc.) please inform us before delivery.

  • Upon delivery of the mare, a cervix swab sample must be submitted that may not be older than 21 days and the mare explicitly allows for covering. Exception: Fohlenrosse in healthy mares u. foal

  • The mare to be covered is to be delivered without hindrance. The removal of the hind iron is at the expense of the mare owner.

  • The stallion owner is not liable for third-party mares. This applies to accidents, illnesses, injuries, death of the mare or a foal at foot. The mare owner remains a livestock owner, so the stallion owner rejects the livestock owner liability. The mare owner is responsible for a proper liability insurance. The stallion owner has the right to call in a veterinarian for treatment at the expense of the mare owner in case of emergency.

  • The stallion owner undertakes to supply the mare to the desired stallion for covering. Use of another stallion of the yard only after consultation with the mares owner.

  • The mare must be free from infectious diseases.

  • The cover money is due after the first cover and has to be paid together with the pension costs at the latest when picking up the mare!

  • Live Foal Guarantee is a re-coverage in the same year until the mare has taken up or in the following year, without having to pay again a cover fee. The daily allowance goes again at the expense of the mare owner. The live foal guarantee applies if the mare does not pick up, resorbs, has a stillbirth or the foal does not get older than 24 hours. It is only valid if the veterinarian certifies that the mare is fit for breeding and healthy. It expires if the stallion keeper is not informed of the incident within 4 weeks. The right to new cover can neither be assigned to third parties nor sold, nor passed on in any other way.

  • The cover slip is handed over as soon as the entire costs have been paid.

  • An ultrasound examination can be carried out by our veterinarian on site, an examination stand is also available.

We wish all mares owners a successful and healthy breeding year
